Thought Leader Global will hold its 2nd Controlling, Reporting and Performance Forum on May 19-20, 2011 at Amsterdam. The event will see presentations of different case studies from group controllers, accounting and financial managers from multinational companies.

The two-day forum comes after realizing the importance of of the role of financial and performance reporting on management decision-making, Thought Leader Global said, pointing to the pressing need to tackle the necessity of reporting at present. “Almost every multinational company has begun or is in the process of implementing a CPM or Financial Transformation programme,” it added.

The forum will convene CEOs, Vice Presidents, CFOs, Directors, and Managers of: Group Reporting Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Accounting, Corporate Reporting, Corporate Performance Management, Financial Control, Reporting Control Consolidations, Strategic Planning, Financial Analysts, Investor Relations, and Corporate Governance.

Attending the forum are some key players known in their respective fields, including Lafarge, Swarovski, DHL, Coloplast and SpareBank 1 Group, Velux, Aibel, Virgin Media, Alpro, BHP Billiton, and Tommy Hilfiger International. Executives of the mentioned companies, serving as guest speakers, will also give their key notes during the forum.

Thought Leader Global said most corporations are still on their way to seeing “the true benefits and cost savings of an integrated CPM programme.”

Part of agenda to be discussed in the forum touches organizational functions that corporations could use to fit their finance departments to corporate structures.
