Internal auditors are facing some unique challenges these days, especially in the government sector.

On Sunday, August 19, 1 p.m., the IIA is hosting a free event, The IIA’s National Summit on the Challenges and Risks to Government Auditors, to discuss key issues facing government internal auditors. Featuring a panel of distinguished government audit leaders led by IIA President and CEO Richard Chambers, it will be an excellent opportunity for you to gain perspectives, discuss risks and challenges, and network with your peers.

The event will be held on August 19 at The Breakers in Palm Beach (Fla.) prior to The IIA’s 2012 Governance, Risk, and Control Conference. You do not need to be an attendee of the conference to attend. To RSVP, send your name and contact information to guidance@theiia.org.
