Private Company Financial Reporting Committee Meeting, Nov. 17-18, 2011, Norwalk, Conn.

The Private Company Financial Reporting Committee (PCFRC) convened by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

The meeting will be held in FASB Office, 401 Merritt 7, Norwalk, Conn., with the aim to discuss accounting issues affecting private businesses.

The PCFRC will discuss various topics, including private company accounting decision making framework initiatives; revenue recognition (Review of Exposure Draft and development of recommendations); disclosures about risks and uncertainties; lease accounting; and investment companies (Review proposed ASU and prepare recommendations).
