AICPA Practioners Symposium and TECH+ Conference

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is going to hold a Practioners Symposium and TECH+ Conference on June 13-15, 2011 in Aria, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The conference, appropriately themed the “New Frontier”, is a one-stop learning experience that aims to address the impact of the changing economy and the challenges that lie over the horizon.
It has 90+ expertly developed sessions that are tailored to feature the most up-to-date content to help the participants bring greater value to their clients and company while driving revenue for the bottom line.
The sessions are divided into practitioners track sessions, accounting and auditing, tax and practice management.
The practitioners track sessions will talk about information and value-added services that are most relevant to the financial employee, his staff, his firm, and clients.
The accounting  and auditing sessions will keep current on the latest standards that has an impact on the profession by covering major updates on a variety of topics such as: GASB, FASB/IASB, A-133/Yellowbook, and DOL/ERISA.

And the practice management sessions will help the financial officer evaluate his firm’s areas of strength, both external and internal, in order to grow revenue, restructure, merge or acquire.
