Wipro BPO Wins ‘Company of the Year’ Industry Award

Wipro BPO has been recognized as the ‘Company of the Year’ in the ‘International’ category, at the ‘BPO Industry Awards 2010′. The award ceremony was organized by Economictimes.com.

Economictimes.com is the online portal of India’s largest circulated financial daily. The award ceremony was held in New Delhi recently.

Wipro BPO is the Business Process Outsourcing arm of Wipro Technologies.
The BPO division of Wipro Technologies is one of the largest BPO service providers on the global platform. It has services all over the world in countries like Brazil, Canada, Japan and New Zealand.

Wipro BPO provides services on a broad spectrum of areas such as in CRM, Industry Specific Solutions, Back Office Transaction Processing and BPO Consulting.

Ashutosh Vaidya, who is the Senior Vice President and Head at Wipro BPO, said: “”We are delighted to receive this recognition. Wipro BPO started its operations with two international locations in 2007 and currently it has 20 international locations.

The BPO Industry Awards 2010 was started by Economictimes.com. The ceremony has been organized with the help of QAI.

The idea of the BPO Industry Awards 2010 is to reward organizations and professionals for their superlative contributions and achievements in the field of Business Process Outsourcing.

The members of the jury who selected the organizations and professionals to be awarded included prominent industry leaders such as Pradeep Gupta, who is the Chairman and Managing Director of CyberMedia, Raman Roy, who is the Chairman & Managing Director of Quatrro BPO Solutions (P) Ltd. and T. K. Arun, who is the Editor-Delhi of The Economic Times.
