KPMG is among the winners at the inaugural annual Top Employer Awards conducted by a website called Workingmums.co.uk.

The award had been designed in a way so as to recognize the best companies which provide great work-life balance and diversity.

KPMG, which is a member of the Big 4 firms which are at the top in the auditing field, has beat companies like Deloitte, Just Teachers Ltd, Manpower, RBS and Deutsche Bank by winning in the Innovation category.

The judges who were brought on to judge the awards said that KPMG International impressed them with its record of maternity coaching, transition coaching and managing the perceptions of other colleagues.

The judges were also pleased because of the women’s networking opportunities KPMG provided for its women employees.

The judges were of the opinion that the approach which the audit and accountancy firm used was extremely comprehensive among all the companies which were nominated.

The judges also said that KPMG was “a model of best practice.”
Other winners who managed to become celebrated because of the working conditions they provide to their staff, especially working mothers and women, were Accenture, and John Lewis. HR180, which is a human resource consultancy also won in a category.
