Huron Consulting Group Names CIO

Huron Consulting Group has announced the name of its new CIO. Vincent Marin will be acting as the Chief Information Officer for the consultancy firm.

James H. Roth, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Huron Consulting Group, said that the firm’s information management requirements have grown to a point where it needed someone who understands the demands of a mobile work force that assists clients with complex business matters around the world and the consulting industry as a whole.
Roth also added: “We look forward to Vince’s leadership in his new role and we are pleased to welcome him to Huron.”
Vincent Marin is a consulting industry veteran. He has more than 20 years of professional experience under his belt. He has worked in various IT roles.
At Huron, Marin will be expected to cause advancement to the internal information technology strategy of the company so that it aligns with its long-term business goals.
Previously, Marin worked at McKinsey & Company where he was the Director of IT Services for the Americas Region. He spent 16 years at McKinsey.
Marin was also adjunct Professor at DePaul where he taught MBA and MIS classes.
