Deloitte Announces Global Alliance

Deloitte is entering into a global alliance with, the enterprise cloud computing company, to provide multinational and international companies with the software, mobile and open cloud computing technologies for the social enterprise.

Paul Clemmons, senior principal in the technology practice, Deloitte Consulting LLP, will lead the global alliance. He is based in San Francisco.

“Companies in general, but specifically our clients are looking to work more effectively and more efficiently. The inherent benefits and possibilities via cloud computing and can represent a solution catalyst. It’s an exciting time to be at the frontier of this domain with a pioneer like,” said Bill Allison, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP and global technology leader.

“Over the past six years Deloitte has helped customers achieve success in the cloud,” said George Hu, chief operating officer, “Through the expanded alliance, we can build on the success and accelerate the shift to the social enterprise globally.”

The alliance, Clemmons points out, helps Deloitte meet the emerging needs of its clients. “Global demand is on the rise and the additional resources and scale enabled by a global alliance with can extend our reach and capabilities around the world,” said Clemmons.

“This is yet another step in Deloitte’s long history as one of the leading consultancies in the marketplace.”

Deloitte’s cloud computing services provides companies with a broad set of capabilities, including business model development, solution delivery and talent management, as well as cloud provider business model advisory, operating model development and ecosystem development with advisory, implementation and operational services.
