KPMG ‘World’s Best Outsourcing Advisor’

July 11, 2012 /

KPMG International has moved up to the top spot, leading this year’s rankings of The World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®), a standards-setting and professional advocacy organization. Last year the firm ranked second on the IAOP list, which is comprised of 20 Advisory firms.

“KPMG is delighted to be acknowledged for the work we do for our clients, by the outsourcing industry’s leading professional organization,” said Mark Toon, Global Leader, Shared Services and Outsourcing Advisory. “It is very gratifying when an independent organization confirms that we are delivering value to both our clients and the profession, in this rapidly changing and complex environment.”

To make the list, companies that provide consulting and legal advice to outsourcing buyers and sellers submitted applications covering various criteria, including customer satisfaction, size of revenues and global presence. The rankings were awarded by an independent judging panel organized by the IAOP.

“This is a significant accomplishment and is a result of the strategic investments our member firms have been making to further strengthen our global capabilities in the shared services and outsourcing areas,” added Mark A. Goodburn, Global Head of Advisory, KPMG International. “We are honored to be recognized for working with the world’s leading organizations to create and protect the sustainable value of their business.”

“In today’s economy, it is more important than ever for outsourcing end users to be able to easily identify and select the right company for their outsourcing needs,” said IAOP Chairman, Michael Corbett. “The Global Outsourcing 100 and The World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors lists are essential for companies who are looking for proven leaders and rising stars in the outsourcing industry.”
